tri
tri is a non-invasive diabetes management system for children that combines continuous glucose monitoring and insulin delivery. The form has three flexible joints so it can be used on different body parts. Also, the flexible form doesn’t restrain the movements of the limbs.
tri uses ultrasound to both monitor blood glucose levels and to deliver insulin. It offers a complete diabetes management solution by constantly monitoring and balancing blood sugar.

Disposable insulin capsules can hold up to 300 units of insulin. The capsules can be easily changed by bending tri backwards.
The case is also the charging pod. It uses wireless charging technology, so children can just put tri in its pod to charge.

Tri uses ultrasound to both monitor blood glucose levels and to deliver insulin. It offers a complete diabetes management solution by constantly monitoring and balancing blood sugar.
Ultrasound can also be used to extract glucose from interstitial fluid, when the glucose is collected it will be analyzed by sensors.
Normally, delivering insulin transdermally is not possible due to its large molecule size. However, ultrasound enlarges the pores on the skin, allowing larger molecules to pass through.
